AltSchool Scholarships are available for students who have successfully passed our entrance exams and meet the specific eligibility requirements of the scholarship funds they are interested in applying for.

The Zedcrest Wealth Academy Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

  1. You must have applied to the Cyber Security program in the Karatu 2026 cohort and scored at least 85% in the AltSchool entrance assessment.
  2. Download the Zedcrest Wealth app, create an account, and complete full KYC using the referral code ASA73.
  3. Complete the financial literacy level assigned by the Zedcrest Wealth Academy after signing up.
  4. Provide a valid ID, such as a passport or national ID card.
  5. Submit a personal statement or video explaining your interest in the AltSchool Cyber Security program and how the Zedcrest Wealth Academy can help manage the income your new skills may generate.

Apex Network Scholarship Fund

Eligibility Criteria

  1. You must have an Apex Network account. If not, sign up on the Apex Network website or app before applying.
  2. You must be from Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, or Zimbabwe.
  3. You must be at least 18 years old.
  4. You must be interested in cryptocurrency and blockchain.
  5. You must have access to a learning device and the internet.
  6. You must be committed to learning and available to complete the course.
  7. Provide proof of citizenship from Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, or Zimbabwe.

VOA Charity Nano-Diploma Scholarship Fund

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Must be an African.
  2. Must be between the age of 18-35.
  3. You must have access to the internet.
  4. Applicants from Eastern and Southern Africa have a significant selection advantage.
  5. You must commit to completing the program within 4 weeks.
  6. You must be 100% committed to the program.

VOA Charity Foundation Scholarship Fund

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Must be an African.
  2. Must be between the age of 18-35.
  3. You must have applied to a Diploma Program under the Baraka 2026 cohort.
  4. You must be willing to undergo a Project for the VOA Charity Foundation after the Diploma program.
  5. Applicants from Eastern and Southern Africa have a significant selection advantage.
  6. A valid ID such as a passport or national ID card is required.
  7. Write an essay (1000 words or less) about your story and how the scholarship will help you.

Titi Akinsanmi Scholarship Fund

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Score at least 85% in the AltSchool's entrance assessment.
  2. Be computer literate.
  3. Must be a female.
  4. Must be willing to commit to the program.

Afolake Odubote Scholarship for Women in Product

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Score at least 85% in the AltSchool's entrance assessment.
  2. Must have applied to any of the School of Product tracks (Product Design or Product Management).
  3. Must have the ability to integrate.
  4. Must have leadership potential.
  5. Must be willing to commit to the program.

Toluwaloope Scholarship Fund

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Score at least 85% in the AltSchool’s entrance assessment.
  2. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree at any university, irrespective of their discipline.
  3. Must be enrolled in the School of Engineering under the Baraka 2026 cohort.
  4. Must be from Nigeria.
  5. Must be willing to commit to the program.

Luno Scholarship Fund

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Must be a resident of Nigeria.
  2. Must be at least 18 years old.
  3. Must commit to completing the program within 4 weeks.
  4. Must have a Luno account or create one before starting the course.
  5. Must be willing to participate in any Luno-led activities.

Cresco Scholarship Fund

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Score at least 85% in the AltSchool entrance assessment.
  2. Must be between 15 and 27 years old.
  3. Must be currently enrolled in a tertiary institution (you'll be required to provide proof of admission).
  4. Must be available to commit to the 12-month virtual training program.
  5. Must own or have access to a laptop/computer for learning.
  6. Must be willing to submit a government-issued ID.

The Cleva- AltSchool Scholarship Fund

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Score at least 85% in the AltSchool entrance assessment.
  2. Must have passed AltSchool’s entrance examination.
  3. Must be willing to commit to the program.

Binance Scholarship Fund

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Score at least 85% in the AltSchool’s entrance assessment.
  2. You must be from Sub-Saharan Africa.
  3. Must have a verified Binance account and upload proof.
  4. Must be available to commit to the 12-month virtual training program.
  5. Must own or have access to a laptop/computer for learning.

Ayoba Developer Program Scholarship Fund

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Score at least 85% in the AltSchool’s entrance assessment.
  2. Age: 18 - 35 years.
  3. Must be enrolled in the School of Engineering.
  4. Must be from Nigeria, South Africa or Ghana.
  5. Must be willing to commit to the program.

Kenya Female STEM Fund

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Score at least 85% in the AltSchool’s entrance assessment.
  2. Must be female.
  3. Must be from Kenya.
  4. Must be willing to commit to the program.
  5. Proof of Kenya citizenship or residency.
  6. Write an essay (1000 words or less) about your story and how the scholarship will help you.

Night Owl Scholars Initiative Scholarship Fund

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Score at least 85% in the AltSchool’s entrance assessment.
  2. Applicants must be Nigerian citizens and currently residing in Nigeria.
  3. Open to individuals aged 18-40.
  4. Preference will be given to individuals currently employed in nighttime occupations.
  5. Applicants should commit to completing the coding program and using the skills for community development.
  6. Proof of Nigerian, South African or Ghanaian citizenship.
  7. A recommendation letter can be beneficial.

BGSO Scholarship Fund

Eligibility Criteria

AltSchool for Students Scholarship Fund

  1. Must be a recent high school leaver, current college university student, or recent graduate (1-12 months post-graduation).
